Steven J. Brady Biography

Steven J. Brady has been practicing law in California for over twenty-five years.  He is widely regarded as one of California’s most sophisticated and experienced civil trial lawyers.  He is a tireless advocate who cares deeply about his clients and their well-being.  Mr. Brady is a recognized leader and authority on effective trial tactics and he has a reputation among his peers as being a highly ethical, diligent attorney with preeminent legal abilities.

Steven Brady received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, with Honors, from Northwestern University in 1981.  He went on to attend Loyola Law School in Los Angeles where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 1984.  He began his legal career working for insurance companies and big corporations where he got an insider’s view of how they evaluate, process and litigate claims.  Mr. Brady has put this knowledge to very good use in his current practice in which he exclusively represents plaintiffs in case involving Severe Personal Injuries, Wrongful Death, Accidents, Products Liability, Medical Malpractice, Insurance Disputes, Sexual Molestation, and Corporate Whistleblowers.

Steven Brady has a well-earned reputation as one of the finest trial attorneys in California.  He has tried over 57 cases to verdict and recently won eleven trials in a row over a four year period.  Mr. Brady cares deeply about all of his clients and he has received numerous eight-figure verdicts and settlements on their behalf.  He is a highly dedicated consumer advocate who is respected and admired by both his clients and other members of the bar.

Steven Brady is admitted to practice in all California State and Federal District Courts, as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  He is a licensed pilot and an active member of several legal and community-based organizations.  Mr. Brady’s professional and community affiliations include:

A Reputation For Professional Excellence.

Steven Brady is an “A-V” rated attorney according to the well known Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating System.  Martindale-Hubbell’s system is an objective indicator of an attorney’s ethical and professional abilities.  The ratings are determined based on the confidential opinions of attorneys and members of the Judiciary which are compiled by Martindale-Hubbell representatives in private interviews.  These lawyers and judges are asked to rate their colleagues’ legal ability and ethical standards.  An “A-V” rating, like the one received by Steven Brady, is the highest possible ranking.  The “A” indicates that Mr. Brady’s peers and colleagues in the legal community rank his legal expertise, qualifications and professional ability as “Very High to Preeminent.”  The second part of the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating System evaluates an attorney’s General Ethical Standards, including their reliability, diligence, ethics, adherence to the professional rules of conduct, and other criteria.  The “V” rating received by Steven Brady means that lawyers and judges in the California legal community believe that his ethics, reliability and diligence are “Very High,” which is the highest possible rating.  Mr. Brady’s A-V rating is just one more indication of his significant accomplishments as a lawyer, and a testament to the fact that his legal peer’s believe he has achieved the highest level of professional excellence.
