Yuba, CA – At Least One Person Killed on Highway 99 at Oswald Road

Yuba City, CA – (November 19, 2018) – At least one person was killed in a violent traffic collision that occurred Monday morning on Highway 99 in Yuba City. The accident happened at approximately 9:11 am on Oswald Road.

Reportedly, a white pickup truck was pulling a trailer on Highway 99 when for unknown reasons it collided with a compact vehicle. Police and firefighters were dispatched to the crash site where they attempted to revive an unidentified victim, but sadly the injuries sustained in the accident were fatal. Authorities did not specify if anyone else involved in the accident sustained injuries. Tow trucks were used to remove the vehicles from the roadway as evidence.

The California Highway Patrol has assumed authority over this investigation.
