Whittier, CA- Fatal Accident at Mar Vista St. And Colima Rd

Whittier, CA (June 17, 2019)- According to police reports, an accident on Sunday left one person dead and three injured at Mar Vista Street and Colima Road.

The collision took place at around 2:47 pm when an eastbound vehicle on Mar Vista Street rear-ended another vehicle. The force of the crash pushed both cars into the intersection, where a vehicle going southbound on Colima Road hit them.

Following the accident, an individual suffering major injuries was transported to a local hospital, where they passed away. At least two more individuals experienced injuries due to the crash.

Currently, none of the victims’ or the deceased’s identities have been made known to the public.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
