West Los Angeles, CA – Bicyclist Killed in Truck Crash on Santa Monica Boulevard

West Los Angeles, California (November 9, 2018) – According to police, a bicyclist was struck and killed by a big rig truck Thursday morning in the West Los Angeles area. The fatal wreck transpired at approximately 9:40 am Thursday, November 8th in the 11200 blocks of West Santa Monica at the southbound on-ramp to the 405 freeway.

Reportedly, an unidentified man was riding his bicycle traveling West on Santa Monica Boulevard when for an unknown reason, he was violently struck by a big rig. Responding paramedics attempted to revive the rider by providing CPR, but despite rescue efforts, the man died at the crash site. His name has not been released by authorities pending identification and notification of family.

This terrible crash remains under investigation.
