Two Vehicle Crash at Road 144 and Avenue 24 in Delano

Delano, California (June 22, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle crash occurred at Road 144 and Avenue 24 in the Delano Area at approximately 8:26 AM on Friday, June 22, 2018. Law enforcement has not revealed the identities of the victims or the extent of their injuries sustained during the crash.

As per the report, the collision took place when a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV collided with a vehicle of unknown model or year at the intersection of Road 144 and Avenue 24. First responders stated that a female victim was trapped inside one of the wrecked vehicles and unable to open the door. The report confirms she was bleeding from the accident and desperately screaming for help. After receiving assistance at the crash site, the victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their current conditions were not disclosed to the public.

Additional teams on the scene reported that the Tahoe received damage to its front-end. Afterward, the vehicle was removed from the site. The condition of the second, unnamed vehicles is unknown.
