Tracy, CA – Motorcycle Accident Results in Injury on Interstate 5

Tracy, CA – (November 9, 2018) – According to authorities, injuries were sustained in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Thursday night on a freeway in Tracy. The collision occurred at approximately 9:33 pm on Interstate 5, just north of 205 Freeway.

Per the initial report, an unidentified vehicle and a motorcycle were traveling southbound on Interstate 5 when suddenly and violently the vehicle struck the motorcyclist. The force of the impact threw the motorcycle off a nearby cliff and ejected the rider from the motorcycle landing him on the roadway. Officials have confirmed that another vehicle was also involved in the collision. Responding paramedics discovered the rider lying on the right-hand shoulder.
