Colfax, California (July 4, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a collision involving two vehicles that took place near South Canyon Way and Old Illinoistown Road. The incident occurred at approximately 1:00 PM in the afternoon on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Authorities have not provided any detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the accident at this time.
As per the CHP report, a Mazda and an unidentified vehicle were driving in the vicinity of South Canyon and Old Illinoistown when, for indeterminate reasons, the two vehicles collided. First responders confirmed at least one person sustained injuries during the crash and was taken to Sutter Roseville to receive treatment.
