Boron, California (June 29, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a two-vehicle crash took place on the southbound lanes of Highway 395, slightly south of Highway 58. The incident took place at approximately 6:08 PM in the early evening of Thursday, June 28, 2018. Authorities have not revealed detailed information concerning the identities of any victims that were involved in the accident at this time.
As per the report, a Jeep and a sedan were involved in a head-on crash on Highway 395. Afterward, Kern County firefighters were dispatched to the scene and provided assistance to the victims. As a result of the impact, one person sustained severe injuries and was transported via air ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. Additional reports did not reveal how many individuals were involved in the crash and how many were injured.
