Simi Valley, CA – DUI Accident Injures Two at Intersection

Simi Valley, CA (November 13, 2018) – Shortly after 12:30 this morning a single car accident resulted in injuries to both the passenger as well as the driver who was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Upon responding to a call near the intersection of Wanda Avenue and Alamo Street, Simi Valley law enforcement discovered that Dylan Smallis, 18, had crashed his 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air into a tree after he lost control of the vehicle and swerved off of the road. Smallis was found still inside the vehicle, unconscious, along with another 18-year-old male in the front seat. The male passenger has yet to be identified. Both occupants of the Bel Air were rushed to Los Robles Regional Med Center where they received treatment for serious injuries. As of yet, no updated statement has been offered on the condition of either one.

Authorities have confirmed that Smallis will be charged with a felony DUI as soon as he is released from the hospital.
