Semi-Truck Collision in San Diego County
As indicated by the initial reports, investigators are still unaware of what caused the collision at Enrico Fermi Drive. As part of an additional analysis, forensic teams will examine the semi-trucks for mechanical failure or system malfunctions and will inspect photos of the crash site. Officials will also consider if one or both drivers had consumed alcohol or drugs prior to operating the trucks or had acted recklessly or negligently. By taking these factors into consideration, police can determine liability.
