San Diego, CA – Delores Odom Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident on Derrick Drive

San Diego, CA (February 26, 2019) – A 59-year-old identified as Delores Odom was seriously injured in a hit-and-run that took place at Derrick Drive.

The accident happened on Saturday, according to police, around 6:25 p.m. At the time, police say that Odom was attempting to cross the roadway at Genesee Avenue when she was suddenly struck by a vehicle. The driver who struck her was traveling west and made a left turn onto the roadway.

When police arrived at the scene of the accident, they found Odom lying in the roadway. She was transported to a hospital with a fractured back.

Now, it has been confirmed that Odom might be permanently paralyzed. Police are trying to piece together the circumstances of the accident and find the party responsible.
