Pomona, CA – Pedestrian Dies during Collision along Towne Avenue near Foothill Boulevard

Pomona, CA (July 19, 2018) – Local news sources reported that a fatal pedestrian accident took place along Towne Avenue, in the vicinity of Foothill Boulevard. Authorities documented the incident at approximately 9:40 PM at night on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the pedestrian and the motorist has been revealed.

Based on initial reports, an unidentified vehicle had slammed into a pedestrian on Towne Avenue near Foothill. Later, paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to the crash site and discovered the victim lying across lanes in the road. Although emergency crews attempted to revive the pedestrian, this individual eventually succumbed to trauma and died.

Officials confirmed the motorist remained at the crash site and spoke with law enforcement officials.
