Piru, CA – James King Killed in Highway 126 Car Accident near Hopper Canyon Road
Piru, CA – (November 21, 2018) –Authorities have disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in Piru Tuesday evening. The deceased victim has been identified as 62-year-old James King of Rosamond. The accident happened on Highway 126 near Hopper Canyon Road at about 4:35 pm on November 20th.
According to authorities a red car, a white work truck and two other unidentified vehicles were traveling on Highway 126 approaching Hopper Canyon Road, when for unknown reasons they collided into one another. Emergency personnel rushed to the crash site where they found King unresponsive and suffering from life-threatening injuries. Paramedics attempted to revive King but sadly he succumbed to his injuries and died at the crash site. At least one other person was injured in the deadly collision and the victim was transported Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for treatment. Two other people sustained injuries in the accident and reportedly declined to be taken to the hospital. Authorities are still trying to determine the events leading up to the accident.
Police are still conducting an investigation into this accident.
