Peteluma, CA – Injuries Sustained in Multi-Vehicle accident on Lakeville Highway
Petaluma, California (November 4, 2018) –According to authorities, injuries were sustained as a result of a multi-vehicle collision in south Petaluma. The accident occurred at approximately 9:35 am in the morning on Saturday, November 3rd near the intersection of Lakeville Hwy and S. McDowell Blvd.
The initial police report indicates, a red Chevrolet pickup towing a trailer was approaching the intersection in Petaluma when it collided with a silver Toyota 4-Runner. The force of the impact caused the Toyota 4-Runner driver to lose control of the vehicle and strike a fire hydrant. The vehicle then rolled several times before landing on its side. Police and firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the accident and transported the driver of the Toyota to a nearby hospital to treat the injuries sustained in the accident. The name of the injured victim and their current condition are not known at this time. Authorities are conducting an investigation in an attempt to establish the probable cause of the accident.
