Oakland, CA – Motorists Sustain Minor Injuries after Three-Vehicle Accident on Westbound 580 Freeway
Oakland, California (July 11, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a three-vehicle accident took place on the westbound lanes of the 580 Freeway along Highway 13. The incident occurred at approximately 11:54 AM in the morning on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Authorities have not revealed any detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash at this time.
As per the CHP report, three unidentified vehicles, including a white sedan, were traveling down the 580 Freeway and collided for indeterminate reasons. As a result of the impact, the sedan flipped onto its roof and the motorists sustained non-life threatening injuries. Afterward, California Highway Patrol officers and paramedics rushed to the crash site to assist the victims.
Later, cleanup teams used tow trucks to remove the wreckage.
