Bicycle Accidents in California
Even though many people enjoy bicycle riding as a weekend pastime, many others use their bicycles as a primary form of transportation. 1,753 bicyclists were killed in accidents in California from 2003 to 2015, according to the California Highway Patrol. With this statistic in mind, it’s important for California drivers to think of bicycle riders as fellow commuters rather than just hobbyists.
