Humboldt County, California – Pedestrian Injured after Collision on Highway 36 near Dinsmore

Humboldt County, California (July 2, 2018) – Local police reported that a woman was injured after a pedestrian accident that took place on Highway 36 in Humboldt County, in the vicinity of Dinsmore. The incident occurred at approximately 7:35 PM in the early evening on Sunday, July 1, 2018. Authorities have not revealed any detailed information concerning the identities of the female pedestrian or the motorist involved in the accident at this time.

As per the police reports, the woman was struck by an unidentified vehicle for indeterminate reasons on Highway 36 near Dinsmore. After the crash, the California Highway Patrol and Southern Trinity Rescue dispatched crews to the crash site. Medical personnel transported the woman via air ambulance to a nearby hospital, where was treated for injuries, the extent of which is unknown.

Authorities have not revealed if the motorist sustained injuries in the crash.
