Hanford, CA – One Person Hospitalized after Car Collision at Idaho and 9th Avenues
Hanford, CA – (November 12, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a truck collision that landed one person in the hospital Monday morning at an intersection in Hanford. The collision occurred at approximately 7:15 am at Idaho and 9th avenues.
Officials have confirmed, a cement truck and a blue Honda Civic were approaching an intersection between Idaho and 9th avenues when suddenly the two vehicles collided. Responding paramedics rushed to the crash site and transported at least one person to Kaweah Delta Hospital. The extent of the injuries sustained in the accident was not immediately disclosed by authorities. Police used tow trucks to remove the Honda from the crash site, they will process evidence collected at the scene to establish the cause of the crash and the party who was at fault.
An investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
