Granada Hills, CA – Joel Argento Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Balboa Boulevard
Granada Hills, CA – (November 28, 2018) – The man who was fatally injured by a vehicle Thursday morning has been identified as 70-year-old Joel Argento. The deadly accident took place just before 3:00 am on November 22nd on Balboa Boulevard near the Interstate 118 Freeway.
The initial report indicates, Argento was attempting to cross Balboa from east to west, when a 2010 Ford Focus heading eastbound struck him. Responding firefighters discovered Argento lying in the roadway suffering from major injuries. An ambulance was used to transport him to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries. Officers confirmed, The driver of the Ford remained at the scene and complied with the investigators.
As of now, this tragic accident is under investigation.
