Fatal Car Accident at Daisy and Lupin

Multiple Injuries and 1 Fatality at Adelanto Crash

Adelato, California (June 22, 2018) – A traffic crash in Adelanto killed one and injured many on Friday afternoon, according to local news stations. The accident occurred near Daisy and Lupin roads and killed a woman and injured two others.

The crash occurred off the main roads and was reported to police shortly before 3:30 that afternoon. Police were informed that two cars had collided off of Mojave Drive.

The California Highway Patrol and other first responders were sent to the site of the accident. Once there, they discovered that a burgundy Suzuki Sidekick SUV and a white Toyota Corolla had crashed into one another and veered off the road.

According to initial reports, the SUV had been traveling west along Lupin Road as the Corolla was traveling south. Upon coming to the intersection, the two failed to stop and subsequently collided with one another.

The 57-year-old woman in the Toyota was declared dead at the scene, and the two other women in the Toyota sustained severe injuries and were immediately flown to a local trauma center to receive further care.

The male driver of the Suzuki received unspecified injuries but refused to be hospitalized for them. While officers work to notify the deceased’s next of kin, the woman’s name has not yet been released. The names of the other’s involved in the accident have also not been disclosed to the public.

The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
