Delano, CA – Deadly Crash Between Truck and ATV at County Line Road and Zachary Avenue
Delano, CA (August 7, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal crash between a truck and an ATV occurred at the intersection of County Line Road and Zachary Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. The crash which transpired at approximately 1:32 p.m. was reported to the authorities who arrived on the scene a short time thereafter.
According to a dispatch report, the truck and the ATV were the only two vehicles involved in the fatal accident. One person, likely the ATV rider although that was not specifically stated, suffered fatal injuries. Emergency responders on the scene confirmed that one person had been pronounced dead at the crash site. It’s unclear if anyone else was involved in the collision or hospitalized.
No further information was made available in regards to the events that caused this accident. Investigators are currently investigating all the evidence that was left at the scene in order to determine the cause of the collision and establish liability.
