Authorities have not revealed any detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the accident at this time.
As per the CHP report, three vehicles, including a minivan, were traveling down Highway 90 when, for indeterminate reasons, they collided on the eastbound lanes. First responders confirmed the van had overturned, and the victims only suffered non-life threatening injuries, including one head injury.

As of now, the investigation is ongoing. As more evidence begins to surface, more information will be revealed to public sources.
Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any chemical substance is a serious crime that can result in severe punishment. Depending on the results of the investigation, the intoxicated driver may potentially be held responsible to some degree.
Authorities are working hard to determine what additional factors may have caused the crash. Forensic teams will examine photographs of the crash site and inspect the pickup, SUV, and third vehicle for mechanical issues or system failure.
In the case of a ruling of driving under the influence, each of the uninjured victims will have legal rights to file a personal injury lawsuit against the guilty parties.
