Contra Costa, CA. Injury Suffered in Head-On Collision on Highway 160

Contra Costa, CA. (July 8, 2018) – At least one person was reportedly hurt in an accident that involved two vehicles on Highway 160 Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash apparently took place at approximately 11:56 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 160, just a little north of Sherman Crossing.

The reports released by the California Highway Patrol stated that an SUV met with another unidentified vehicle in a head-on collision for reasons that are presently unknown. One of the vehicles involved ended up in a ditch due to the impact of the crash. According to authorities, the driver of one of the vehicles sustained injuries during the collision. That victim was reportedly taken to Antioch Medical Center with injuries that are currently unknown.
