Cerritos, CA – Joseph Fodor Killed in DUI Crash on Interstate 91

Cerritos, CA – (December 4, 2018) – A motorcyclist was killed in a DUI crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 91. Police have identified the man as 55-year-old Joseph Fodor, of Brea. The California Highway Patrol responded to the accident at approximately 2:20 am on December 2^nd.

The initial report indicates, Bryanna Neri has been identified as the 22-year-old driver of a 1995 Acura Integra who reportedly lost control of her vehicle while traveling eastbound on Interstate 91. Neri struck a Tesla Model 3 driven by 39-year-old Marlon Choyce, of Lake Elsinore and the vehicles became disabled in the roadway blocking several lanes of traffic. According to investigators, Fodor was riding a 2002 Honda motorcycle when he crashed into the Acura that was blocking the carpool lane after the initial collision. Shortly after the motorcycle crashed, a 2016 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Christine Nauta of Buena Park slammed into Neri’s unoccupied Acura. Emergency personnel rushed to the crash site immediately and discovered Fodor lying in the roadway fatally injured. Paramedics transported an unknown number of people to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. Police Arrested Neri on suspicion of DUI.

The California Highway Patrol has assumed authority over this investigation. Witnesses are asked to call the CHP at (562) 868-0503.
