Carson, CA (August 8, 2018) – A local news source reported that one person sustained injuries and another died as the result of a violent rollover crash that took place on the 1500 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, in the vicinity of Harbor City. Authorities first responded to the collision at 3:00 PM in the afternoon last Friday, August 3, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash has been revealed.

Based on the news report, an unidentified vehicle was traveling near Harbor City when, for indeterminate reasons, it overturned on Sepulveda Boulevard. Sometime later, the Los Angeles County Fire Department sent firefighters to the crash site. Sadly, the victim succumbed to his fatal injuries.

Meanwhile, officials also discovered another victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and transported the individual to a nearby hospital to receive treatment.

Given the circumstances, authorities have still not determined where the vehicle was heading or how it initially flipped over. At this time, the local sheriff’s department has assumed authority over the ongoing investigation. As more evidence continues to surface, more information will be released to public sources.

We extend our most heartfelt prayers and our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased victim and wish them strength and peace of mind during this tragic, difficult time. We also extend our loving prayers to the injured victim and wish the patient a swift and efficient recovery.

Fatal Rollover Crash in Los Angeles County

As indicated, officials are still unaware of what caused this deadly crash on Sepulveda Boulevard. As the investigation continues, forensic teams will inspect the vehicle and examine photos of the crash site to determine if the driver had experienced mechanical issues or system failure prior to the collision. Simultaneously, officials will consider if drugs, alcohol, negligence, recklessness, or distracted driving played any role in the events leading up to the accident.

In the event of a traffic accident resulting in fatalities, the members of the deceased victim’s family can potentially file a wrongful death lawsuit and receive much-needed compensation for funeral expenses and the tragic loss of a loved one, amongst other unfortunate circumstances.
