Carlsbad, CA – Pedestrian Accident on El Camino Real Leads to Injuries

Carlsbad, CA (February 15, 2019) – Police say that a 36-year-old man, who has not yet been identified, was struck and seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on El Camino Real. The accident took place yesterday around 8:35 p.m.

Police believe that the pedestrian might have been standing in the roadway when he was suddenly struck by an oncoming Nissan. The man driving the Nissan, identified as a 50-year-old man, stopped and cooperated with authorities.

Meanwhile, the pedestrian was rushed to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

At this time, police are attempting to determine liability in the accident.
