Canoga Park, CA – Three Firefighters and Two Civilians Injured during Two-Vehicle Accident on Canoga Avenue near Sherman Way

Canoga Park, CA (August 2, 2018) – A local news source reported that five people including three firefighters sustained injuries as the result of an accident involving an ambulance and a smaller vehicle on the 7200 block of Canoga Avenue, in the vicinity of Sherman Way. The incident occurred a little after 8:00 PM at night on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash has been revealed.

According to initial reports, an ambulance and a smaller vehicle were traveling down Canoga Avenue and, for indeterminate reasons, collided near Canoga. Sometime later, rescue crews were dispatched to the crash site and rendered medical aid to the victims, who suffered non-life threatening injuries during the impact. Later, the firefighters and two civilians were brought to a nearby hospital to receive treatment.

Presently, investigators are looking into possible causes for the crash. As more evidence continues to surface, more information will be released to public sources.
