Burson, CA – Seven People Injured in Multi-Car Crash on Burson Rd

Burson, California (November 5, 2018) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred in Burson on Saturday evening.  The accident transpired at approximately 6:50 pm on Burson Road near Camanche Parkway.

Per the initial report, 32-year-old Chueyee Yang had been driving his minivan southbound on Burson Road when he suddenly collided into a Ford F-250 driven by Ronald Caywood. Sometime later, police and firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the accident and discovered the minivan driven by Yang had five juvenile occupants in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Paramedics treated the injured victims at the crash site and transported Yang to a local hospital to treat major injuries sustained in the accident. The extent of the injuries sustained by the other occupants of the vehicle is not known at this time. Police will continue to work to determine fault. Authorities have not released any additional information about this accident.

Police are conducting an investigation to determine the probable cause of the accident.
