Bonsall, CA – At least One Hospitalized After DUI Crash on Highway 76
Bonsall, CA (August 2, 2018) – A collision at the intersection of Highway 76 and Mission Boulevard that transpired on Thursday morning in Bonsall is reportedly being blamed on a DUI driver, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash that apparently involved three vehicles transpired at the intersection at approximately 7:20 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol stated that the accident occurred between a gold Honda, a red Ford Mustang, and an Orange SUV. According to the reports that were filed, the driver of the SUV was apparently swerving in and out of lanes just before the wreck. Prior to paramedics arriving on the scene, all the proximate vehicles had reportedly pulled into a movie theater parking lot near the intersection.
Paramedics arrived in order to assist any injured parties, of which at least one had been suffering from injuries that were classified as moderate. An ambulance immediately transported the injured victim to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. The driver of the SUV was apparently arrested at the scene, and that person will most likely face DUI charges. Nevertheless, all aspects of this accident are currently under investigation.
