Biggs, CA – At Least One Person Injured in Highway 99 Big Rig Accident

Biggs, CA – (November 20, 2018) – A major injury traffic accident was reported early Tuesday morning in Biggs, Butte County. The accident took place at approximately 4:14 am on Highway 99 near East Hamilton Road.

Reportedly, a big rig was traveling southbound on Highway 99, when suddenly the two motorists collided for unknown reasons. Responding officers discovered at least one person suffering from major injuries and transported them to a local hospital for treatment. Tow trucks were dispatched to the crash site to remove the wreckage and debris from the roadway. Police closed the highway in both directions following the accident to give way for an on-scene investigation.
