Bicyclist Injured During Collision at Elverta and Walerga Intersection in Antelope

Antelope, California (June 21, 2018) – California Highway Patrol reports revealed that bicyclist received serious injuries during  collision that took place at the intersection of Elverta and Walerga Roads around 2: 45 PM on Thursday, June 21, 2018.

Police reports indicated the bicyclist had crashed at Elverta and Walerga and had sustained traumatic injuries from the accident. First responders transported the victim to Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael for treatment. Law enforcement has not yet revealed if the bicyclist had collided with another vehicle, and the victim’s current physical condition remains undisclosed. As of 3:05 PM on Thursday afternoon, officials are continuing their investigation.
