Berkeley, CA – Woman Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Accident at Intersection

Berkeley, CA (February 7, 2019) – A 26-year-old woman who has not yet been identified was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Way and Parker Street.

Police responded to the accident around 6:10 p.m. on February 5 to find that the woman was seriously injured in the accident. The woman from Berkeley was attempting to cross the street at the intersection when she was suddenly struck by a vehicle.

The woman received head and arm injuries in the accident. The resident who struck her, a 74-year-old from Oakland, remained at the scene to cooperate with police.

At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
