Auburn, CA – Motorcyclist Seriously Injured Following Collision at Erin Drive and Tracy Lane

Auburn, CA (July 17, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol dispatch team reported a motorcyclist who suffered severe injuries after a motor vehicle accident in the vicinity of Erin Drive and Tracy Lane Monday afternoon. The injurious collision was reported to have taken place at around 12:04 p.m. for reasons that are currently unknown.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was logged after a green Honda Accord collided with the motorcyclist at the intersection of Erin Drive and Tracy Lane. Paramedics along with Placer County Fire Department officials responded to the scene in order to attend to the injured rider. The victim reportedly sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision and was immediately transported to a local hospital to undergo treatment.

Presently, there was no word made available as to the condition of the driver who struck the motorcyclist. It is also unclear whether or not the driver stopped the vehicle to assist the victim or if they fled the scene of the crash.
