Apple Valley, CA – Vehicle Plows into Residential Home after DUI Incident on Mandan Road

Apple Valley, CA (August 2, 2018) – A local news source reported that a vehicle plowed into a residential home along the 15000 block of Mandan Road in the Apple Valley area. The incident happened at approximately 2:35 AM in the early morning hours on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Officials have identified the motorist as 21-year old Hesperia resident Bailey Joshua Forshey. At some point afterward, officials from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District rushed to the scene and rendered aid to Forshey and the married couple. Later, the man and woman were brought to a nearby hospital, where they received treatment for minor injuries.

After receiving a procedural medical check at Saint Mary’s Hospital, Forshey interred at the High Desert Detention Center on the charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Civilians holding critical information relevant to the case have been ordered to call Sergeant James R. Evans or Deputies Greg Teplansky and Trevor James at (760) 240-7400 at the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station.
