Crash on Highway 99 Causes Major Injuries
Gridley, Calif. (June 15, 2018) Â A crash on Highway 99 caused major injuries to those involved. The two-vehicle crash occurred near the Township Road exit and substantially delayed traffic as the California Highway Patrol worked to clear up the wreckage.
According to a CHP report, the accident occurred around 2:18 p.m. and involved a black Nissan Altima and black Nissan Mirage. The Mirage suffered major front-end damage after colliding with the left-side of the Altima. While the names of those involved have not yet been released to the public, paramedics administered care at the scene to those involved and those with more serious injuries were taken to a local hospital to receive treatment. Details regarding the severity of those injuries have not yet been released.
The CHP is still investigating the crash and what may have caused the devastating accident, and no fatalities have been reported.Â

At this time, not enough information has been released to the determine the cause of the accident or who is at fault for the injuries caused. The CHP continues to investigate and will take a multitude of factors including speed and the violation of traffic guidelines into account to determine the exact cause of the accident.
